Itinerary

<DAY1 - DAY7>

DAY1 : Tokyo short trip and welcome party

On the first day of the tour, we'll start with sightseeing in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan's capital. After introducing your fellow tour participants, we'll head out to explore the iconic sights of Shibuya that you might have seen on TV or social media. Enjoy the Hachiko statue in front of the station and the famous Shibuya Scramble Crossing etc. At night we'll build excitement for the tour at the welcome dinner party.

DAY 2 : Tomei Yokohama store → Lake Kawaguchi

We'll board a train to meet the bikes that will accompany us on this journey. After a briefing, once preparations are complete at the Tomei-Yokohama store we'll depart promptly. Since we'll be traveling through a somewhat busy area, we'll start by heading towards Mount Fuji via the expressway. You'll stop by the place of 'Yosegi Zaiku,' a traditional craft from Hakone, one of the famous hot spring areas. Yosegi Zaiku, with a history of over 200 years, is a highly precise technique where colored natural woods are combined using traditional skills to create intricate geometric patterns. Next, we'll head to Lake Ashi, where you can enjoy a view of Mount Fuji, a UNESCO World Heritage site, rising majestically before you. After enjoying Mount Fuji and the ride, we'll proceed to Oshino Hakkai. Located in Oshino Village in Yamanashi Prefecture, this group of springs is formed by the snowmelt from Mount Fuji filtering through underground lava over long periods. You'll be able to see the beautiful, crystal-clear springs and the traditional Japanese houses that line the landscape.

DAY3 : Lake Kawaguchi → Takayama

Today, you will embark on a journey towards the majestic Japanese Alps. Your first stop will be the Suwa Taisha Shrine, one of Japan's most ancient and revered shrines. This historic site consists of four main shrines dedicated to the spirits of nature, offering a serene and spiritual experience.

Following your visit to Suwa Taisha Shrine, you'll continue your exploration to the picturesque Kiso Road. This historic route features the charming post town of Narai-juku, which dates back to the Edo era. As you wander through this beautifully preserved town, you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich history and traditional architecture of Japan’s past. Enjoy the scenic beauty and historical ambience as you travel along one of the most scenic routes in Japan.

DAY4 : Takayama → Shirakawago → Hokuriku area

On this day, we will depart from Takayama and head further north. We will then ride to the south to the World Heritage site of Shirakawago, with their traditional gassho-zukuri farmhouses, some of which are more than 250 years old. Next, we will proceed to Takaoka's Kanayamachi, which has a history of 400 years and still retains the atmosphere of the Edo period. Amidst the traditional Japanese houses that give the feeling of a time slip, we will visit one and have a maccha tea ceremony. That night, we will stay in Hokuriku area and enjoy delicious seafood from Toyama Bay or Sea of ​​Japan. 

DAY5 : Hokuriku area → Gujohachiman

On this day, we will travel south along the Sea of Japan coast. First, we will head to the 'Chirihama Nagisa Driveway,'* the only sandy beach in Japan where you can ride a motorcycle. This location is the finish line for the SSTR (Sunrise to Sunset Touring Rally) motorcycle event, which takes place annually. From there, we will continue southwest along the coast to Eiheiji in Fukui Prefecture. "The Temple of Peace" with its history of over 770 years, is a world-renowned Zen training monastery. Here you can witness the impressive solemnity of the monastery and observe Zen monks diligently practicing their meditation. That night, we will stay in the castle town of Gujo Hachiman, nestled in the mountains.

DAY6 : Gujohachiman → Japanese Sword museum → Nagoya

We will ride on the Seseragi Road, heading to Nagoya along the Japanese Alps. We will stop at Seki, famous in the country for being the base city for most of Japan’s cutlery industry. Here we will enjoy a katana demonstration and then have a unique visit to see the authentic swordsmithing workshop in action. We will visit Nagoya Castle, built at the beginning of the Edo Period and one of the most popular castles in Japan, known for the two golden shachihoko (mythical fish-shaped ornaments) standing on the roof.

DAY7 : Nagoya → Nara → Kyoto

Today, you’ll visit the historic Iga-Ueno Castle. In Iga City, the birthplace of the legendary ninjas from feudal times. We’ll explore a genuine Ninja house, complete with hidden tricks and traps, and visit a museum showcasing their history and artifacts. Don’t miss the chance to capture some great photos at the nearby castle, set within the beautiful grounds.After exploring this fascinating site, you’ll ride on to Nara, the very first capital of Japan from the 8th century. Nara is renowned for the Todai-ji Temple, which houses an impressive and massive statue of Buddha. Another delightful feature of this charming city is its free-roaming deer, which you’ll see wandering throughout the area. Tonight, you’ll stay in the beautiful city of Kyoto.

<DAY8 - DAY14>

DAY8 : Kyoto sightseeing (Sightseeing/Rest day)

On this day, we will take a break from riding and enjoy sightseeing in Kyoto. This will be a free day for sightseeing, so if you prefer to explore on your own, feel free to do so. Our guide will take you to three main attractions: the Golden Pavilion (Kinkaku-ji), covered in gold leaf; the large Kiyomizu-dera Temple perched on a hill; and the picturesque bamboo groves in the Kodaiji Temple. Let’s explore these must-see spots in Kyoto together. (Transportation will primarily be by train and taxi.)

DAY 9 : Kyoto → Hiroshima

On this day, we will depart from Kyoto and head towards Hiroshima, approximately 370 kilometers away. We will travel westward along the southern side of the Chugoku Mountains and first stop by the Bikan Historical Area in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture. Kojima in Okayama Prefecture is known as the birthplace of Japanese denim and is famous for the high-quality and popular 'KOJIMA GENES' brand. In Kurashiki, you'll find many shops along the willow-lined canals where you can purchase local specialties such as denim and fruits from Okayama. After exploring the Bikan Historical Area, we will continue our ride towards Hiroshima. 

DAY10 : Hiroshima sightseeing (Sightseeing/Rest day)

Hiroshima Sightseeing Day (Riding Rest Day). Enjoy your free time exploring historical sites such as Miyajima Island and its iconic torii gate in the harbor, the A-Bomb Dome and its museum, and savoring Hiroshima’s famous okonomiyaki (a delicious teppan hotplate dish), among other local attractions.

DAY11 : Hiroshima → Shimonoseki

On this day, we will depart from Hiroshima and head further west. We will begin an adventure into areas that are seldom visited by international travelers. Our first stop will be Yamaguchi Prefecture. Here, you can admire the Kintai-kyo Bridge, one of Japan’s iconic wooden bridges, with its multiple arched spans that highlight the traditional Japanese aesthetic. Next, enjoy a refreshing ride along the Karst Road, which winds through a vast 8-kilometer expanse of grasslands between the sea and mountains. We will then arrive at Akiyoshidai, one of Japan’s top three karst plateaus and designated as a Special Natural Monument. This plateau, which was once an underwater coral reef about 350 million years ago, now features a varied and dramatic limestone highland. To conclude the day, we will visit the hidden gem, Motonosumi Inari Shrine, where the breathtaking sight of 123 torii gates stretching over 100 meters along the coastline awaits.

DAY12 : Shimonoseki → Aso

On this day, we will reach the north coast of the island, while on the road a big challenge will await us: the Kokonoe Dream large suspension bridge. With its 173 meters height above the water surface and 390 meters length, it is considered Japan's tallest pedestrian bridge. Here, we will enjoy the astonishing beauty of the Shindo Waterfalls, which are listed among the 100 most beautiful waterfalls in the country.
We will ride along the Yamanami Highway, one of the beautiful roads to experience the mountains of the Kyushu region. The view from 'Daikanbo,' a natural observation deck at the highest peak of the northern outer rim of Aso, is truly captivating. That night, we will stay in the Aso area.

DAY13 : Aso → Fukuoka

Today marks the final riding day of our tour. We’ll start the day with a refreshing ride through Aso, heading first to 'Kusasenri.' This is one of Aso's representative tourist spots, featuring the smoking Nakadake crater, picturesque ponds reflecting the greenery, and grazing horses—every corner offers a stunning view.
Next, we will ride along the Milk Road, which showcases the majestic landscape of Aso's vast caldera, before heading towards our destination, Fukuoka. After taking some breaks along the way, we’ll make our way north and safely reach our Fukuoka location. On our final evening, we'll celebrate with a farewell party in Hakata, known for being Kyushu’s premier gourmet district. Let’s share and relive the countless memories of our journey together.

DAY14 : Departure day
