Next, we’ll head towards the north coast of the island, where a big challenge awaits us: the Kokonoe Dream large suspension bridge. With its 173 meters height above the water surface and 390 meters length, it is considered Japan's tallest pedestrian bridge. Here, we will also enjoy the astonishing beauty of the Shindo Waterfalls, which are listed among the 100 most beautiful waterfalls in the country. We will stay for the night at Shimonoseki area.

DAY4 : Shimonoseki → Hiroshima

Next, we will head to Akiyoshidai, one of Japan’s top three karst plateaus and a designated Special Natural Monument. This plateau, which was once an underwater coral reef about 350 million years ago, now features a varied limestone highland. Enjoy a refreshing ride along the Karst Road, which winds through the expansive 8-kilometer grassland. We will then head northeast towards Hiroshima, passing through scenic areas between the sea and mountains. Our route will take us to the Kintai-kyo Bridge in Yamaguchi Prefecture, one of Japan’s representative wooden bridges, with its multiple arched spans enhancing the traditional Japanese charm. Finally, we will continue to our accommodation in Hiroshima Prefecture for the night.

As we navigate the narrow mountain roads, you’ll be greeted by the stunning scenery of windmills and karst plateaus. After a short break, we’ll continue along more mountain roads and cross several famous sunken bridges known for being submerged when rivers rise. We will then arrive in Kochi City. DAY10 : Kyoto sightseeing (Sightseeing/Rest day)

On this day, we will take a break from riding and enjoy sightseeing in Kyoto. This will be a free day for sightseeing, so if you prefer to explore on your own, feel free to do so. Our guide will take you to three main attractions: the Golden Pavilion (Kinkaku-ji), covered in gold leaf; the large Kiyomizu-dera Temple perched on a hill; and the picturesque bamboo groves in the Kodaiji Temple. Let’s explore these must-see spots in Kyoto together. (Transportation will primarily be by train and taxi.)

DAY11 : Kyoto → Nara → Wakayama

We will depart from Kyoto and ride to Nara, Japan's first capital in the 8th century. Nara is renowned for Todai-ji Temple and its massive statue of Buddha. Another charming feature of this city is the freely roaming deer that can be found everywhere!
Afterward, we will arrive at Mount Koya, one of Japan’s sacred sites and the center of Shingon Buddhism, founded by the prominent religious figure Kobo Daishi. Despite its small size, Mount Koya boasts a high concentration of revered sites, including Kongobuji Temple, the head temple of Shingon Buddhism, and Okunoin, where you can take a 2 km walk to Kobo Daishi’s mausoleum.

DAY12 : Wakayama → Shingu

This day will be spent riding and visiting a World Heritage site nestled in the mountains of Kumano. Aquaculture (the breeding and harvesting of aquatic life) is also practiced along the coast of the Kii Peninsula, and we may have the opportunity to see the unique scenery of a Japanese port town, depending on the time of year. There are three major shrines in the Kumano area that are registered as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and the tour will visit one of them: Nachi Taisha.
Nachi Falls, one of Japan's top three waterfalls, is located very close to Nachi Taisha and is a popular power spot believed to promote longevity. In fact, the three-legged crow "Yatagarasu," featured in the emblem of the Japanese national soccer team for many years, is actually a messenger of the gods of Kumano. You can find depictions of Yatagarasu everywhere, so keep an eye out for them.
After recharging your energy at this spiritual spot on the Kii Peninsula, enjoy the seafood of Wakayama and relax while savoring the scent of the ocean.

Following our visit, we’ll proceed to the Yokoyama Observatory for breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Our day concludes with a ride to the Ise Jingu area, renowned for its spiritual significance and tranquil beauty.

DAY14 : Ise → Suzuka Circuit → Nagoya

Firstly, we’ll ride a short distance to Ise Grand Shrine, one of the top three shrines in Japan, to explore the rich history of this magnificent shrine. Next, we’ll head to the famous Suzuka Circuit, one of Japan’s renowned racing tracks. In addition to the circuit itself, there are plenty of activities including souvenir shopping and various attractions.  After enjoying these experiences, we’ll make our way to our accommodation in Nagoya, adhering to the speed limits along the route.

DAY15 : Nagoya → Nishi Izu

On this day, we will head north and aim to reach a point where we can see Mount Fuji! Utilizing the highways, we will comfortably make our way to Shizuoka Prefecture. Among Japanese travelers, it's popular to sample local specialties at service areas along the highways. Not only for rest, but also make sure to try these regional delicacies!
The lunch stop will be at Numazu Port, where you can enjoy some delicious seafood. Afterward, we’ll ride along the Nishi-Izu Skyline, one of Japan's most popular riding roads. Tonight, unwind by the seaside in Izu and enjoy a relaxing evening.

DAY16 : Nishi Izu → Tomei Yokohama store

Today is the final riding day. You will experience the thrill of riding on the Kawazu Loop Bridge, considered one of the most spectacular bridges in the world. Next, we will head to Amagi, renowned for its Japanese wasabi. Wasabi thrives only in pure, clean water and has natural antibacterial properties, making it a perfect accompaniment to raw dishes like sashimi for both its flavor and safety. Let's try to make wasabi pickling! After crossing the mountain roads of Izu, we will visit the Daikanbo Observatory, where you can take in stunning 360° views, including Mt. Fuji across Lake Ashi, the Southern Alps, and the extending peninsula.
