Itinerary

Day1 Sendai→Morioka

Departing from Rental 819 Sendai and heading north toward Iwate, you’ll arrive at Genbikei Gorge, where towering cliffs and emerald‑green waters create a landscape that looks almost like a painting. It’s a serene place to appreciate the quiet beauty sculpted by nature over thousands of years.

Continuing north, you’ll arrive at Chusonji Temple, where you can immerse yourself in its deep history and solemn atmosphere while appreciating the beauty of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tranquil grounds and cultural treasures, including the famous Konjikido Golden Hall, offer a profound sense of time and tradition.
After exploring, spend the night around Lake Gosho.

Day2 Morioka→Kamaishi

Leaving Morioka, ride through the refreshing mountain scenery along the smooth and winding National Route 455. Your next stop is Ryusendo Cave, one of Japan’s three great limestone caves, known for its crystal‑clear, deep‑blue underground lakes.

From there, follow the pleasant curves toward the Sanriku coast until you reach Jodogahama Beach, a breathtaking spot with white pebbles and remarkably clear water—so beautiful it’s often described as “a glimpse of paradise.”
After taking in the sound of the waves, continue on to Kamaishi, enjoying the sea breeze and dramatic coastal scenery. End the day with delicious Sanriku seafood while reflecting on a ride filled with nature’s grandeur and coastal beauty

Day3 Kamaishi→Sendai

On the final day, depart from Kamaishi and follow the exhilarating coastal road overlooking the Sanriku Sea. Cross the impressive Kesennuma Oshima Bridge and enter the Rias Blue Line, a route that showcases the rugged beauty of the rias coastline.

Your journey concludes at Seapalpia Onagawa, a revitalized seaside town that stands as a symbol of recovery. Enjoy the ocean breeze and the lively harbor atmosphere before returning safely to Rental 819 Sendai, carrying with you the memories of a three‑day motorcycle adventure that captures the very best of Sanriku.
